The Duncan family members are the owners of Enterprise Products Partners, an American natural gas oil and petrochemical company based in Houston, Texas. Co-founded by the late Dan Duncan (1933-2010) in 1968, it is now one of the largest publicly traded energy partnerships in the world, owning approximately 50,000 miles of pipeline and employing over 7,000 people across the scope of its operations, which include seven offshore drilling platforms and 26 natural gas processing plants.

Fortune 500 ranked the company 105th in its annual list of America’s largest corporations by revenue in 2018, having generated $29.2 billion, including a profit of $2.79 billion. At the time of his death, Dan Duncan was worth $9 billion, all of which was inherited by his wife and four children. Currently, only his eldest daughter Randa Williams is listed as being involved with the company, elected in 2013 to be Enterprise Production Partners non-executive chairman of the board. Previously, she had been the president and CEO and vice president between 1994 and 2001. Forbes listed the Duncan family at number ten on their annual list of America’s richest families, with a net worth of $21.5 billion in 2016.
